BSD-660 Series

Advanced Specific Surface Area and Micropore Analyzer

The BSD-660 is a fully automatic, high-throughput physisorption analyzer for specific surface area, pore volume and meso-, micro- and ultra-micropore size distribution (0.35–500 nm), with surface areas measurable from 0.0005 m²/g. Two independent A/B stations provide up to 12 analysis ports, each able to run a different gas and temperature. Degassing and adsorption testing take place in situ in the same position, so the sample cell never has to be removed. Also measures adsorption isotherms of N₂, Ar, Kr, CO₂ and combustible gases such as H₂ and CH₄, with optional corrosive-gas (MC) and vapor (MV) versions.

BSD-VVS & DVS Series

Multi-station Gravimetric Gas /Vapor Sorption Analyzer

The VVS and DVS series measure gas and vapor adsorption isotherms gravimetrically on 4 or 8 stations in the same test environment, using a high-resolution microbalance (down to 0.1 µg). The BSD-VVS uses the vacuum static method (P/P₀ 0.1–98%), the BSD-DVS uses the dynamic gas-flow method (RH 2–98%) and also handles corrosive gases and vapors, and the combined VVS&DVS offers both in one instrument. It also supports equal-pressure adsorption kinetics and auto-cycle adsorption performance testing, with test temperatures from −5 °C to 150 °C (±0.1 °C).

BSD-PH Series

High Pressure Gas Sorption Analyzer

The BSD-PH series measures high-pressure gas adsorption isotherms, PCT curves, adsorption kinetics and heats of adsorption for hydrogen storage, shale gas, coal-bed methane and gas separation research. The standard BSD-PH covers vacuum to 20 MPa with 1, 2 or 4 test ports, and the BSD-PHU extends this to 50 or 69 MPa. Test temperatures range from −196 °C to 900 °C, including 77 K hydrogen adsorption. Other models add equal-pressure kinetics and TPD (PHE), atmospheric desorption rate (PHEM), stress-loaded rock and coal cores (PHC), and multi-component competitive adsorption (PHM).

BSD-MAB

Multi-component Adsorption Breakthrough Curve Analyzer

The BSD-MAB measures gas and vapor adsorption breakthrough curves under real process conditions, with adjustable adsorbent, bed layers, temperature, pressure, concentration and flow rate. Two-component breakthrough is analyzed with the built-in thermal conductivity detector, and multi-component competitive adsorption and displacement desorption with an optional chromatograph or mass spectrometer. Applications include gas separation, PSA/TSA and hydrogen purification studies, adsorbent regeneration and cycling, ppm-level pollutant adsorption (TVOC, SO₂, NH₃), and gas-separation membrane characterization.

BSD-C200

Automatic Chemisorption Analyzer

The BSD-C200 is an automatic chemisorption analyzer for catalyst characterization, performing TPD, TPR, TPO, TPSR, TPS and pulse titration. It also determines desorption kinetics (activation energy, pre-exponential factor and desorption order). Two automatically switching furnaces (room temperature to 1200 °C, 1–100 °C/min) allow auto-cycle catalyst lifetime evaluation without manual cooling. The analyzer has 12 gas inlets, 3 MFCs for mixed gases, a steam generator, and test pressures up to 1/3/10 MPa. Signals are detected by TCD, with optional mass spectrometry or FT-IR.

BSD-BET400

Auto Fast Specific Surface Area Analyzer

The BSD-BET400 is a fully automated analyzer for fast BET surface area testing of samples with small to medium surface areas, using the dynamic chromatography method. Four in-situ degassing and analysis stations test 4 samples in about ten minutes, measuring surface areas from 0.01 m²/g with ±1% relative error. A thermostatted internal reference removes the need for standard reference samples. Combined with stable operation and a gas-purification cold trap, this makes it well suited to industrial quality control of battery materials, metal powders and other powders, granules and fibers.

BSD-PB

Comprehensive Membrane Pore Size Analyzer

The BSD-PB characterizes the through-pores of filter and separation membranes. It measures bubble point; maximum, minimum, mean and most-probable pore size; and pore size distribution. It also determines gas and liquid permeability and flux, flow–pressure curves, integrity and hollow-fiber burst pressure. The BSD-PB covers 0.012–200 µm, the BSD-PBB 0.12–200 µm and the BSD-PBL 5–50 nm. It handles flat membranes (battery separators, carbon paper, nonwovens, filter paper, ceramic and sintered-metal membranes) as well as hollow-fiber and tubular membranes.

BSD-VD12

Vacuum Degassing Station

The BSD-VD12 is a vacuum degassing station that prepares samples for surface area and high-pressure sorption analysis on the BSD-660 and BSD-PH series. Two independent stations provide 12 ports (6 per station) for simultaneous degassing, heated up to 400 °C (±0.1 °C) with a 32-segment programmable touch-screen controller. Pressure-controlled pumping prevents sample loss, a pressure sensor detects when degassing is complete, and degas curves are logged. An optional cold trap protects sensitive samples such as MOFs and COFs, as well as the vacuum system.

BSD-TD

Automatic True Density & Porosity Analyzer

The BSD-TD measures the true (skeletal) density and the open and closed porosity of powders, granules, blocks, foams, slurries and non-volatile liquids by gas displacement. It is accurate to ±0.03%, with ±0.015% repeatability and 0.0001 g/ml resolution. Each station completes a test in 0.5–1 minute, and one or two analysis stations are available. The bottom-loading sample cell (1–25 ml, with customized and square-cell options) acts directly as the test chamber, reducing dead volume. A programmed thermostatic chamber (better than 0.1 °C) and pre-conditioned gas keep measurements stable.
